3 Stages of High School

My Roller Coaster Ride

Throughout my Grade seven in high school,
I was completely lost and confused.
Later, I had colleagues to talk to
They helped me during my darkest hours.

Next year came fast and unexpected
I became gullible, out-going.
The tasks given were easy and fun,
It nurtured my mind to be better.

School gets harder, more pressure this year,
More responsibilities for me.
I hope things be not as tough as thought,
So that surviving be guaranteed.

My First Week in Grade 9

Reaching the third year of my junior high school at Cavite National Science High School, I believe, is a pride for my parents. I feel so lucky to be able to study in a well-known school and one of the best secondary schools in the Philippines. Thanks to the endless support and tireless guidance of my father, mother, sister and  relatives, I wouldn`t have made it to this state in my life. Also, thanks to my faithful friends who helped and never left me in my journey. And most especially to the Almighty God who gave me wisdom, strength and patience.

My first week as a Grade 9 student was very exciting and at the same time fun. At first I met my kind adviser, Ma'am Loueilla Malimban also known as Ma'am Lucky. I didn't feel alone because of my former classmates who are in the same section as mine which is Oxygen. And I am also glad to meet my new classmates since I know that they'll soon become my friends too.

During this week, we prepared our requirements for every subject in our class. I was relieved because the requirements was not that hard to complete which I thought it would be. I joined the Young Sportsmen Club and I was grateful to be voted as the assistant treasurer of the club. I joined YES-O and became the organisation's PRO as well.

I wish that this year would be amazing and blessed for all the great things that would come all throughout. I will prepare myself in facing all the difficult challenges and tough trials with the endless guidance of God and my family. I will do my best to become successful and to make my parents proud.
